Dissolved Metals
Many water and aqueous fluid systems contain dissolved metals. Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, or Fluoride and Arsenic are now raising concerns in drinking water. Commercially, you may want to remove Chromium or Silver — or possibly recover the metals from fluids. Industrial applications might require Platinum and base-metals reduction, with regeneration benefits.
Sometimes metals are chelated or complexed, adding to the challenge. Other common strategies may pose risks of Alumina or organic leaching. The contaminants may be at relatively high concentrations or quite low levels where the water needs polishing for purity. Reduction performance claims may need independent certifications, such as ANSI/NSF 53 or state and country authorization registrations. The solution needs to be robust, reliable, and cost-effective.
We understand these operating conditions. Our portfolio of products include powder to granular sizes, boxes to super sack packaging, are available already in blocks, and even in a “fabric” between strong non-woven materials. Whatever your application, we can help capture those dissolved metals.
