Carbon Block

Carbon block filters have numerous advantages providing high performance chemical adsorption for higher fluid volumes. These provide excellent flow management without channeling, longer functionality, and great depth filtration (including sediment). We specify select coconut shell carbons activated to optimize their microporous structure. For simple taste, odor, and particulate claims, it is difficult to mold or extrude a better product.

We can add the extra performance of proprietary additives for dissolved metal and processes to achieve microbiological reductions. If certifying performance claims is important, we can assist in that process. Ask about:

• Cyst claims in gravity flow operating conditions
• Lead, arsenic, fluoride performances — combined
• Unique forms for functionality — radial or vertical flow
• Higher fluid volumes and longer contaminant reduction lists

At Surfatas, we understand choosing a block filter, or a granular filter, even new combinations. Finished cartridges can also be developed to your specifications.
