Granular Activated Carbon

These virgin carbons from coconut shell and coal are activated for high performance in liquid phase applications. Catalytic functionality occurs by collecting the contaminants through adsorption and reacting them. The proprietary meso/macro pore structures of Surfatas carbons are optimized to remove simple contaminants like taste and odor compounds through extremely high volumes, or reduce tough dissolved organics like Trihalomethanes, MTBE, Hydrogen Sulfides, and solvents in potable water applications. Environmentally friendly, they may be reactivated and / or disposed of easily.

The high performance carbons may be mixed with impregnated carbons to provide your column mix efficiently. This allows for a high volume media that removes dissolved metals and organics reaching your volume horizon for performance claims and efficiency.
